This is a test gameplay of my next HTML5 project called Ubiratan. Just like in previous narrative games, the player must make decisions that could take characters to death. A mechanic similar to that one present in Otherwise is shown here: at some specific moments in the game, the player will have the option to choose one of two protagonists to play. In this video I present a short demonstration of what the narrative of the same scene would be like but from different perspectives, while in the upper window the playable protagonist is John, in the lower window the one is Gabriela.

Choices made:

Play as John → Help Gabriela → Throw the bottle → Go up the stairs

Play as Gabriela → “Keep Running”

Hi guys - I'm a little bored so here I wrote some curious facts about Otherwise:

What saving the receptionist affects in the game?

- The group can't escape from the Psycho on seg III whatever you do.

- Rafe and Penny can't break up.

What driving Rafe and Penny to break up affects in the game?

- Rafe will never be the protagonist who go across the hole in the mines way.

- Penny will never be the protagonist who stay down in the mines to activate the elevator.

- Rafe will always choose Penny to be kidnapped by the Psycho at the junkyard in the forest way (if she's still alive).

What escaping from the psycho on seg III affects in the game?

- The group can't take the mines way.

- The group can't contact the police.

- The group can't discover the psycho's indentity.

- Taylor can't survive anyhow.
